Bill McLaughlin's B.A. in Physics from the University of California at Riverside was followed by OSHA 40-hour Health & Safety Training, with refresher courses and graduate studies in Business, Physics & Hazardous Waste Management at the University of California
A REP member since 2001, he was elected to our board in 2002 and re-elected in 2006. From the beginning, he has served on the Political Committee. In September 2006, he was elected Vice President by his fellow board members.
A letter to the editor that Bill authored was published by the Wall Street Journal on April 12, 2002. He frequently writes to President Bush and Members of Congress about specific environmental issues within his field of expertise.
Bill was the subject of a "Profile of a REP Leader" article in the winter 2006 issue of The Green Elephant. He authored the lead article, "The Proper Size of a Cocker Spaniel," in the summer 2006 issue. He published "McCain for the Environment" on February 4, 2008 in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Ontario, California.
