Jim Stuhltrager earned his B.A. in Foreign Service and International Politics at Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. at Widener University School of Law.

He served as a staff attorney at the Mid-Atlantic Environmental Law Center in Wilmington, Delaware, where he concentrated on water quality, air quality, and endangered species issues, and later as general counsel to the Pennsylvania National Guard. He is currently an environmental attorney with the U.S. Army, focusing on cleaning up the Rocky Flats National Arsenal in Colorado. Prior to entering law school, he served for eight years in the U.S. Navy.

A member of REP since 2000, Jim was elected to our board in 2002 and re-elected in 2006. He serves as Chairman of the Republicans for Environmental Protection Political Action Committee (REP PAC).

Jim was the subject of a "Profile of a REP Leader" article in the summer 2004 issue of The Green Elephant.
