Proud to Praise 'Em!

REP wrote lots of thank-you letters this past quarter, including some to Republican House members we don’t often have reason to praise. There were two votes in particular that caught our eye.

Representatives shown in black italics voted to stop the Interior Dept. from allowing new logging roads in the Tongass National Forest. Ohio Congressman Steve Chabot co-sponsored that amendment—which passed.

Those in light green italics voted to remove snowmobiles from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Connecticut Congressman Chris Shays co-sponsored that amendment—which failed, unfortunately.

Those whose names are in
bold green voted for both amendments. Major kudos to them all!
